This is a double fashion question: 1. how do you tie the "the Rosie the rivetter" hair tie look from the 40s?

2. I saw a black woman at walmart the other day and it drove me nuts trying to figure out how she got her hair in that lovely wrapped turban...can someone please tell me, I think it looks beautiful!
