Has any skeptic out there actually investigated the truth for themselves?

Maybe... but my guess is that many people have found their truth and became atheist just to keep their mind and sanity as I have found my medium(which has a wilderness in virtue), the bible, and had known Jesus in the midst of vultures and creeps, where your topic have been realised into.
