I think i have swine flu but my dr wont see me?

i have all the symptoms: really bad cough, tired, runny nose, vomiting, sore throat, headache, & i am so sore i feel like i was working out at the gym for days. i have been home sick from school since monday. but when we called the hospitol where my dr is they said to just stay home. they dont want to see me and potentially give it to anyone else. they said all they could do was confirm my case & give me normal cold & flu meds (which they let my mom pick up from the pharmacy). i am a healthy 17 year old so i am not in the "elderly, pregnant or young" group. should i get it confirmed at another dr. or should i just stay home till i feel better?
