Printable Coupon Acceptance Problem

I just got back from the grocery store. I've used printable coupons before, but now, all of a sudden, they're not acceptable if they're not printed in color...Anyone else ever have this problem? (My color cartridge is almost empty, so I thought I'd save some $$ printing in black & white. Ended up losing $15!) Black & white coupons have been accepted before.
